Mac
The Mac began with the original Macintosh in 1984, the computer that brought the mouse and a graphical interface to everyday people. After years of iMacs, PowerBooks and Intel-powered MacBooks, Apple switched to its own M-series chips in 2020, which made Macs faster, cooler and longer-lasting.
In 2026 it widened the range at both ends: the M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro and Max MacBook Pro, and the MacBook Neo, the first Mac to run an iPhone chip, at Apple’s lowest laptop price yet. We cover new Macs, macOS, performance and buying advice.
